Husband struggles at bill pay

I worry about my husband. He is a smart guy and graduated from high school and college with great grades, but when it comes to life, I don’t think his grades would be too good. He tries hard, but just doesn’t get it. I am sure it is frustrating to him and I try not to laugh, but it is hard. Last week, the sweetheart tried to surprise me by taking care of all the bills. Well, he made a big mess out of it. He accidently sent the phone bill to the power company and the power bill to the water company. I was on the phone for hours trying to figure out what happened. Thankfully, Green Mountain Energy was able to sort out most of the mess from their end and I was able to pay the other bills online. I guess if they checks ever make it to the right place, we will just have a credit on next month’s bill. I wish my husband would either learn how to do it correctly or learn not to touch it.
